Instant add to Wishlist. i started with 3D months ago (because i have that class in my university), im at the phase with blender where is interesting, i have some basic models, i can model, UV unwrap, (use substance for materials, and animate, and would like to make the step to sculpting, this app seems promising although is crazy expensive (for my economic situation, the app price is fine).

Shapelab is like a Blender but in VR sculpting. Users want something and devs are like: "Sure why not! That's a good idea, lets put it into next update!". And the update comes way sooner than you hoped for with twice as much awesome new features with really refined and well thought mechanics.

However i plan to make male characters while you are making a female base there, do you plan to make the same Mannequin, but male? I do realize it will be similar and probably one can done male figure following the female one , just with slightly different proportions, but still would love to see how you are doing it. Yes, but the only issue with this I'm getting that when I want to zoom in for smaller details the reference image does not zoom along with the model... Then you have to scale image and match it again causes some slight inaccuracy

I like sculpting in Blender on my PC and using Nomad Sculpt on my tablet. What makes VR sculpting "better", vs the other systems/tools?

Hey man, love the results. I prefer the hair in geometry nodes because it looks more polished but I like the poly model for print reasons :). I did something similar with a character of mine and definitly like the idea of having curves drive, geometry that drives GN. It is so much more intuitive then xgen haha. Love to see how you approached it, really like your tutorials. keep it up :)

I would like to explain something for anyone who have never used VR and are experiencing vertigo watching this video. Even though I use VR every day, I still experience symptoms because my brain is out of sync and I can't predict how Danny will move his head. In my actual experience, I never feel lightheaded when utilizing programs, especially for standing still usage.

Is making the hair really so difficult in shapelab?

One issue I have is that the mesh doesnt merge or stretch so it follows the exact shape of the curve as a single mesh. Rather my one follows the curve, is still tapered but keeps its' original mesh shape so it's like dotted, tapered rectangles following the mesh :/ please help
